Loads of briars and kirsch fruit complement warm spice, anise, and lightly grilled herbs. An awesome Zin with power and finesse. I'm 91 on this wine.  -Andy

KILIKANOON TESTAMENT SHIRAZ 2007 VINTAGES 50047  $27.90
Barossa Valley, Australia

Blueberry, cassis, hung meat, warm spice, aussie black licorice, and a touch of mint and black olive. I'm 93 on this wine.  -Andy

C.J. PASK GIMBLETT ROAD MERLOT 2008
VINTAGES 9134  $18.95

Incredible purity of fruit here, with red currants, red plums, and dark cherries all built on a taut yet generous frame. This is is classic cooler climate Merlot, and just goes to show how incredible Gimblett has become with its Bordeaux varietals. I'm 90 on this wine.  -Andy

MURATIE ANSELA VAN DE CAAB
VINTAGES 588202  $28.00

Steeped currants, plums, and blackberries, spice, leather, sweet earth, bay leaf, black tea and pipe tobacco. No brett evident. I'm 92 on this wine. Still plenty left in it to lie down for 5-7 more years.  -Andy
